I do apolgise that we were unable to delivery the fabric that you ordered within the time that our website indicated, and also that we failed to let you know this within the first week from the date of your order. We should have done better certainly in terms of our communications with you.
Occasionally some of our fabrics are out of stock and, in this case, resupply depends on whether it is a fabric we manufacture ourselves (in which case resupply is usually 1-2 weeks) or one that we obtain from an external manufacturer. In the latter case we are reliant on the manufacturer's ability to be able to replenish our supply promptly. In the late Autumn period manufacturers can struggle to hold enough stock to allow this to happen for every fabric they supply. In the case of your particular order we were advised that we would have more stock by the end of the month, although in fact it was a couple of days into December before we were actually able to send the fabric out.
I have reviewed all the emails that we sent to you regards your order and they don't seem to me to be treating your order in an off-hand way. We certainly would never knowingly treat any order in an off-hand manner but I apologise if this is the impression we gave.
