Hello John, thank you for your review.  We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay.  We have had nothng but positive reviews for this villa throughtou the season.  In fact, the guests that stayed there immediately after you left this feedback: 'Excellent service from start to finish, Agnes thank you for all you assistance whilst we where over there.This was our first time to a villa of any kind I would highly recommend The ranch, villa was beautiful and in tip top condition well maintained.We all loved the pool, the kids especially where just up in the morning and spent the day there, very relaxing holiday, could not have asked for better. thank you again. we will be back :-)'

I have spoken to the property managers and the gardener who said they were not aware that you were so unhappy during your stay.  I also raised all of the points your mentioned with them.  Whilst they agree that some further cleaning of the property is required in certain areas like the curtains, and new garden furniture is going to be purchased, they felt that this is not a true reflection of the villa.  New crockery and glassware was purchased recently and this is always kept stocked up.  The insects and drainage issue was not mentioned by any other guests this year, but we are sorry if this spoiled your enjoyment of the villa.

Thank you for your feedback Lisa.  We are sorry that you were not 100% happy with Villa SP023.  We have spoken to the property manager who has since been to check on the villa.  She has purchased new utensils, crockery, glassware and cutlery for the kitchen.

The broekn fridge in the utiltiy room had been removed and put in the utility room as to get it out of the property it involves taking a doorframe off.  This unfortunately isn't an option in peak season, but we are sorry that it was there.  The towels in the laundry room are kept there by the cleaners to replace when they clean and prepare the property; these should have been put away by them.

The property manager agrees that the bar area is in need of TLC.  We are very sorry they did not make us aware of this before your stay.  This is now closed and will be re-vamped (along with other areas that need some attention) when the owners visits in a few weeks time.

We always take customers' feedback seriously and we appreciate guests telling us about concerns in the property.  We are just very sorry that things were not perfect for your stay.  We hope this would not deter you from booking with us again in the future.
