We are really very sorry to hear your that your experience was not what you expected. Spare straps for this watch are not readily available but as you say, a member of our team did go through our stock to see if they could find one for you which they did and offered to you.
We were only advised that you were looking to purchase a replacement strap, not that this was a warranty replacement, and so quoted for the replacement.
The cost is in line with other spare straps offered for other watch styles, and postage is free of charge.
We have not been advised of any difficulty setting this watch up but will review the instruction booklet to see if changes can be made. A member of our team is always available to assist over the phone if help is ever required.
