Thank you for your comments. I have sent them on to the design team. As to the freewheel lever these are in place by law and must be clearly labelled and functional for safety reasons. I asked ourprefered insurance company about how many scooters are stolen and they tell me very few indeed. The reason they think is that in all likelihood the people who steal bikes, electric scooters etc. tend to be young and have no interest in mobility devices.
