You accidentally damaged a wall knocking the plaster out. Despite numerous phone calls and emails and pictures I'm yet to receive a call back and have the matter resolved. Its been a month.

Sorry to hear about the damage caused during your installation Chris. Occasionally damage to plaster and decoration does occur due to the force needed to remove the old door/window. Our fitters are instructed to 'make good' on these situations to complete the install, but as they're not professional plasterers they're not always too confident with this which may be why it's been avoided. I'll pass the comments on to our customer services team to investigate with the installation depot and get this rectified.

The installer did was a nice guy and did a good job at fitting the door, Unfortunately the damage was noticed after he had left, otherwise I'm quite sure he would have reported it and I wouldn't have had the problems I've had with your poor customer service getting this resolved. I don't blame the fitter as I understand these things can happen. I am unimpressed though at the slowness in getting a response from Customer Services. Yesterday after another phone call I finally received an email acknowledgement in receipt of my emails. It is one full month today since my first phone call and email. The email says it can take up to 14 days for a proper response.

It now the 20th of September and despite a promise of a refund for the damage caused I've yet to receive it . This issue has been going on July .. Customer service and response has been extremely poor!

Sorry to read that this hasn't been resolved Chris. I've checked the notes and the compensation was authorised so I'll get on to the accounts team to find out where you cheque is. Apologies again that you've not received it yet.

I was told I on the phone by a customer service manager and have it via email that I would receive a refund for the damaged cause to my wall just about 3 weeks ago and I've yet to receive anything. My saga has been going on for 3 months. I've even emailed to the attention of the CEO Staff that are supposed to help resolve unsatisfactory issues without a response from them . Please can someone help resolve this issue and refund the money I've paid out to fix a problem Safe- style caused and maybe just offer something for all my pain and effort ! MR C Tompkins

I've confirmed with accounts that the cheque was dispatched on the 21st after my previous reply. If this hasn't arrived by the start of next week please let me know and I'll get them to reissue it.

Finally the cheque arrived this morning. Thank you for chasing. Something that so easily could have been sorted out with a minuscule amount of Customer service or even if the company had just followed its own guidelines. I'm glad this debacle is over and will never recommend SafeStyle to anyone following this experience.
