Sorry to hear that you had some difficulty in attaching the lid - they do require a degree of firmness to click into place but this is the first time we have heard of anyone having such difficulty. (they can be hard to get off once on!). We will pass on your comments to Simplehuman as they are always interested to hear about customer interaction with their products. Many thanks for rating us excellent for service and product. We appreciate that the Wesco bins are not inexpensive items but their build quality and paint finish are hard to beat. They are in our view a bit like a Mercedes-Benz - beautifully finished and engineered but worth the price! Rob

The Simplehuman CW1830 is one of the larger bins we offer (at 46 Litres) but others go up to 60 Litres. The biggest issue we tend to find is that customers order bins that are too small - and perhaps surprisingly this 46L model takes up little more floor space than say a 30L or 33L bin, with the extra space coming from height and in many ways making it easier to use with the lid at or near waist level. With so many products now having recyclable plastic and cardboard packaging we think you will surprised how quickly the bin fills up. Rob

Many thanks taking the time to provide this feedback. On receipt of order a confirmation email automatically goes out from us and when we dispatch the product we send a further email confirming delivery date (and in most cases where the courier provides one a tracking number). Our records show that both these emails left Binopolis. Sometimes these get caught by customers' email spam filters - the settings for which are outside of our control. If you check your spam folder you may find them hiding in there - too late in this case I know but may be useful for further internet purchases - from us or other retailers! We understand your views on the lid and we will feed your comments back to the manufacturer. Rob
