In case they have not forwarded our comments we detail below the relevant points:We are sorry to hear you had an issue with the slats under the mattress. If you had made us aware our onsite maintenance team could have attended and made a permanent fix. With regard to the leather sofa bed, the design is such that the cushions need tying to the frame. They occasionally come loose and slip forward. We do our best to check them at every changeover. If you had contacted us we would have been able to attend and secure them for you. We are aware of the villa in which you stayed but are not aware of any rip in the fabric on the arm of the chair. Thank you for making us aware as we will attend on the next changeover and arrange a repair/replacement as necessary. Your comment about the shower has been noted and will be monitored. We have not received any other comments from guests either before or since your stay but it seems strange to be an isolated incident during your stay. Therefore the best we can do is to check it when the current guests depart and to periodically monitor it. We are sorry you were inconvenienced.All our villas at Bay Retreat were completely repainted during lockdown. We are sorry the standard was not to your liking but we have had no other complaints. It does appear from all your comments that were not suited to the site and you may have been more comfortable in higher grade self catering. On that subject Bay Retreat is graded 4 star self catering by Quality in Tourism and they are priced accordingly.

Thank you for grading four stars for the accommodation. In each property there is a laminated sheet with key information including WiFi details, a link to our digital Guest Welcome Folder as well as two contact telephone numbers - one number is our office open daily and the other is a mobile to be used in extreme emergencies only. The underfloor heating is controlled via the wall thermostat. Unfortunately we cannot explain why you had difficulty contacting us and we must apologise if this was the case. You haven't stated what extreme emergency you had but we trust you resolved the issue. Our administration office is open seven days a week and staffed from 7am to 7pm in the summer months. I have checked all our email folders and can find no reference to you having contacted us by email so it is difficult to comment further on this point. We trust that despite the issue with the heating controls you had an enjoyable holiday. We hope to welcome you back another time.
