Your comments are noted and when you raised some issues after check-in we dealt with them as promptly as possible. Our email to you of 6 October answered your queries but for the benefit of others reading this feedback, a copy is below: "Further to our email below our Watergate Bay manager arranged for some additional inventory to be dropped into your apartment but since you were not in, our staff member did not stay. As you will realise by now we delivered: * dinner mats * coasters * another small bin we had spare. (note the kitchen bin is under the sink) * a big bowl to hold a tin of soup. The doors in the corridors are heavy and on springs as they are fire doors and meet fire regulations. It is not permitted to keep them open as it would be a health and safety hazard. For this reason kindly refrain from using any kind of door stop. We are sorry you have been inconvenienced by the heavy doors but unfortunately there is nothing we can do this. They conform with fire regulations. Unfortunately we do not have access to any surfboard storage facility at Waves but neither do we advertise such a facility. We do however have a surfboard storage area at Beachcombers Apartments, also in Watergate Bay, so it may be worth bearing this in mind for the future. We are very sorry to hear the apartment appears not to be up to our usual high standards of cleanliness. Please advise if you would like someone from our housekeeping team to attend. There is no need for you to incur costs in buying any replacement inventory. Hopefully the items we dropped off today will tide you over. The apartment is privately owned and we will liaise with the owner with regard to items that you have advised need replacing such as the outside mat and mop. We don’t expect guests to mop on holiday but if you would like these replaced whilst you are resident in the apartment please advise by return and we will do our best to arrange this.
