Hello. I am very sorry to hear about your son's discomfort. We generally say that if someone has a microbiome that is very imbalanced they may have some of these symptoms - but your sons sound extreme and for that I am very sorry. We would recommend that he continue to take a daily dose but in a smaller amount. He is also welcome to mix it with fruit juice or smoothie if it helps him to take it.
