Raffles Bench

A traditional teak bench with shaped crest rail, curved slatted back and curved seat with flat arms. Designed for public and private use the Raffles Teak bench is of a sturdy, heavyweight construction. Built with heavy duty arms, strong 7cm squared legs and corner blocks this elegant bench is stronger than most. Similar to the Riverbank, the Raffles bench is considered by many as slightly more attractive due to its curved crest rail. Available in 3 sizes. 2 seater 130cm, 3 seater 150cm or 4 seater 180cm The teak Raffles bench is a very popular bench and is often used in public parks, church grounds and outdoor clubs such as golf courses and bowling greens. It is an ideal commemorative or memorial bench due to its wide top horizontal crest rail. Though due to the rails decorative curve, a long inscription is more suited on a plaque or you may wish to consider our similar designed Riverbank bench which has a straight crest rail and can accommodate more letters. Please note these high quality benches are very solid and must not be confused with inferior flat packed models. This Raffles Bench is assembled in our Indonesian factory and delivered to you fully assembled which ensures quality, stability and durability. If you wish for your bench to commemorate someone or something we can have it hand carved with your own inscription. Alternatively we can deep engrave a solid brass or bronze plaque with up to 100 characters.
