Dear Mr West, our team are updating the information on Crockford each day to ensure that it is as complete and current as possible. There are currently two pages for each CofE cathedral - one purely listing Crockford appointments, the other containing a wider range of information as found in the Year Book, which was only launched last month based on information provided earlier this year. We are reviewing both in the light of this feedback and will update accordingly. We rely on regular updates from dioceses and cathedrals to help ensure information is as up-to-date as possible and changes we are informed of are normally published within 24 hours. Thank you for your reply. I was about to urge you to look at the actual entries for Wakefield Cathedral, but I see you have very recently corrected them. One detail had been six months out of date, not corrected "within 24 hours"! I see that you do depend on up-to-date information being given to you.

Thank you again for this. I have just looked at the entries for Bradford Cathedral and they are hopelessly incomplete. On one you mark the post of Dean as "vacant" - but Jerry Lepine has been Dean for four years! The other lists him and a canon who left a year ago and makes no mention of Mandy Coutts or Cat Thatcher.

I have always found the Crockfords site easy to use, and the advantage of the web site is that it is always more up to date that the book.

Purchase experience was fine apart from having to pay Hymns Ancient and Modern, which as a payee is not noticeably like Crockfords.
