The Oleaster have dark green leaves and as the plants mature silver speckles will appear on the leaves, and they will also have a rougher texture when you touch them. Your plants will have creamy/white flowers in autumn, and then orange fruits will push through in spring to feed hungry birds in your garden. Hi Jonathan, Thank you for your feedback. I am so sorry you did not receive the correct beech plants. I can see my colleague Wendy has arranged for replacements to be sent out to you. If you can find use for the ones that were sent in error please keep them with our compliments or give them to a neighbour. Beech looks wonderful all year round. In autumn the leaves turn brown when the plants become dormant for the winter. The plants hold onto these leaves and now the growing season has just begun you will soon see lots of healthy green leaves pushing through. And Lavender is a beautiful, fragrant evergreen shrub. From May onwards they will produce wonderful lilac flowers that will attract lots of butterflies and bees. So extra wildlife should hopefully be coming into your garden soon. Yew is a slow growing evergreen conifer that produces red berries during the autumn that will attract hungry birds. So extra wildlife should hopefully be coming into your garden soon. Your plants are covered by our 12 month plant guarantee, so if they have not picked up please do let us know. Golden Privet is a semi-evergreen, which means the plants may lose some or all their leaves during a very cold winter. Lots of new leaves will push through again in spring and in summer. Your new plants will really brighten up your garden with their yellow and green variegated leaves and they will produce creamy/white flowers that will attract lots of butterflies and bees. Hi, Lovely to speak to you and thank you for your feedback. I am so sorry you were sent such poor quality plants and I completely understand how disappointing and frustrating this was for you. As discussed on our call our accounts department will process a full refund for you. I do hope that with a little TLC you will be able to save some of the Berberis Evergreen plants you received. They are ideal as an intruder proof hedge due to its prickly thorns! During Spring they produce lovely yellow flowers and in Autumn black/blue fruits will feed hungry birds. So extra wildlife should hopefully be coming into your garden soon. Once again, I am very sorry for the inconvenience caused.
