Customer purchased an indoor car storage AirChamber and complained that a strong gust of wind into his garage has broken one of the D-Rings which optionally tether it to the roof. These are not required to make the product work.We made 3 responses immediately to the customer, who never said what we wanted us to do about this, which does not affect the performance of the product, to no avail. Upon escalating his complaint to the manufacturer of the product, they confirmed to us, and him, that we had handled his complaint correctly and fairly. This is an indoor product and strong gusts of wind are not what it is designed to handle. It would have been better to not open the garage door in the first instance. We have sold these units since 2003 and substantial complaints are very rare. Our own Managing Director is about to use one to store his own car over winter, as do over 10,000 other car owners worldwide.
