I would say it is a bit unfair to assume any future order would go missing, as we cannot leave any goods without a signature, and would not leave any goods regardless. You as the customer, gets to choose your delivery day, so would hope that you make arrangements to be in to receive your flooring.
With regards to leaving this kerbside, this is correct, this is the best way, in our experience to get goods to you and minimise any damage en route, where the goods are strapped and secured to a pallet.
We do not have our own fleet of transport, therefor have to use a courier. The couriers are not insured to carry goods into our customers homes unfortunately, and can only drop the pallet kerbside.
The Kerbside delivery is explained in your terms and conditions, that you have to tick to say you have read and understood before continuing and placing your order.
