Dear John, Thank you for the review. I note you have bought the same products earlier as well as your earlier review about the device. For the current review, we have checked all these devices with us but couldn’t see the issue with the battery as explained. Under the service review you have mentioned ‘Fitted with Dead Batteries’, however the device is not supplied with batteries fitted in it. The 2 AAA batteries are supplied packed and kept separately but not fitted in the device. In this instance these had an expiry date of 04/2030. Therefore, there is no way for us to know that the batteries would not work. The same batteries were supplied the last time too which despite using three times a day for 2 years haven’t lost any charge! We request you to look at the possibility that batteries have somehow got mixed-up as it very strange that the earlier batteries have not lost any charge after so much usage but the recent ones from the same make, supplied packed, never used and no way near expiry has no charge in it? Furthermore, this is a consumable item supplied only complimentary initially and further supplies are easily available from general stores. These are not meant to be the costlier long-lasting batteries supplied free of charge and we are very surprised that the other one has still so much charge after that much use.
