I gave the hamper as a gift but my Mum was very pleased. One of the reasons I went with this company was that they didn't charge a huge delivery charge to the highlands.

What packaging should we use? This has been widely debated here at Highland Fayre HQ over many years. We opt for flopak (polystyrene chips) as they cushion and protect the products. We have, in the past, used wood wool and in hamper trays we use sizzle wrap(crinkled paper strips) but the issue with packing this in larger hampers is that the weight compresses the sizzle wrap and this creates air in the package which allows the products to move and hit each other. This in turn leads to a higher risk of breakages. We do our upmost to ensure that our hampers arrived in perfect condition (even if handled roughly by our carriers!)
