Hi there,
Thank you for your review. Although, we are very happy to hear that you are satisfied with your purchase, we are sorry to hear there was an additional fee to be paid upon receiving your order. Our sincerest apologies, the COD (cash on delivery) charges are duties and taxes set by Canada customs and paid via Canada post plus the Landmark Global handling fee.
If you would like to avoid handling fees, you can request from the broker forms to do it yourself with Canadian customs, however, please note, a customs broker will check the commodity codes (every product on the planet has a unique individual code) that are then used to prepare the customs documentation. The customs broker is electronically registered with customs, speeding up communications, and sorting it out on your behalf as getting the customs documentation wrong can mean goods are held up, or even confiscated.
All items imported into Canada, that are valued over $20 CAD will have COD charges applied and the recipient will be instructed to make a payment upon collection or delivery of the parcel.
Best Wishes,
Curvy Kate Team
