No. You offer a 'four yard skip', the measurements for which are then given in metres. And how many plastic bin bags it will hold. You DO NOT give clear measurements. When I was speaking to your operative on the phone, I was using a conversion calculator online and checking with your operative that I'd got the measurements right. I was assured I had.
I CLEARLY explained what I wanted, and was under the impression that I'd got it right and that the advice I had been given was correct.
IMMEDIATELY the skip was dropped off, I contacted your office and said it was too small. There was no other skip on the lorry that I could see, and the driver was less than a mile from my house when I phoned you. Your attitude was a disgrace! Wanting me to pay DOUBLE (with a tiny £10 or £10 'discount') so that you could bring me another skip!
See - you are clearly a company that blames customers for your own shortcomings, and doesn't see the importance of customer service. This is also evident in your remarks about the desk top, which was NOT balanced on top of an overloaded skip (as you suggest), but placed on top of an evenly-loaded skip and covered with a blanket. The fact that it was left dropped across next door's parking space, where it could have damaged their car or mine and caused a tripping hazard, somewhat contradicts your 'health and safety' claims.
I think that your attitude, in response to my review, is just as disgusting as the attitude I encountered when I rang to complain about the skip in the first place. It was NOT my fault that you sent such a small skip, it was NOT my fault that you felt charging almost double to sort it out was acceptable and I did not; it was NOT my fault that a desktop that was securely placed on a level skip load, under a blanket, was left dumped in my neighbour's parking bay.
I will never use you again, and wouldn't recommend you to anybody. I did say this, at the time you dealt with me initially, and you couldn't have cared less. So, I wrote you the review I promised I'd write, if you didn't work with me to resolve the problems in this case.
