Thank you so much for writing this nice review. We are glad your group enjoyed the Kennebec River whitewater rafting adventure with us. When pulling together a large group, there are always obstacles involved from time to time. Pricing on the rafting trips is subject to change, so we like to encourage guests to confirm the numbers sooner rather than later, if at all possible. Our rafting trips on the weekends for July and August (typically), especially on Kennebec River turbine test days, tend to fill up very quickly. We try to put out postings on our Facebook page advising people that we are filling up, but unfortunately not everyone sees those posts. Our reservation staff will do all they can to help you pull together a large trip and will try to make it as seamless as possible. We hope to be given that chance to do so again next season. :)

Thank you for your comments. We do apologize for the impressions and possible misunderstandings given to you by someone located at our front desk at the time of your question. Our thought is that person responded thinking that you may need further assistance from the bartender as opposed to someone else at that moment. The manner in which you indicated they responded to you is not in line with the customer service typically provided. Our Office Manager, Lisa, would welcome the opportunity to discuss this situation further with you in hopes additional clarification can be provided about that particular moment.

Thank you for providing us with your feedback. We do apologize for the delays in assistance from our front desk. As with many other establishments, we were unfortunately short staffed all season. The front desk staff we had on hand did a wide variety of tasks on a daily basis - some of which took them from the front desk position for a short period of time. During the morning of your check-out , we had over (100) people on site to whitewater raft the Kennebec River on a turbine test day. Many do not realize that we have time constraints to work within to get everyone checked in and ready for the rafting orientation meeting in order to keep to the tight schedule. This timeline ranges anywhere from 15 minutes to a half hour depending on when people arrive to check in for rafting. We are very sorry that the person at the front desk was unable to acknowledge you at that moment and hope the explanation provided offers more understanding of the situation during that time.
