There are no local trustable representatives in my area. Not great if i ever need to use the insurance in an emergency. My annual rates for my family keep rising even without any claims for over 15 ye

I think its unnecessary to call WR in advance for every case. I had other insurance suppliers before who had a internet database where you could check by yourself which doctors have direct billing agr

It is only in-patient and day-patient treatment that needs to be pre-authorised and our claims team are always on hand to make this process as straight forward as possible. It is not necessary to obtain pre-authorisation for out-patient treatment unless you wish to check that the treatment you require is covered. If you have Direct Billing with your policy, you can visit the following page on our website which gives a full list of all the facilities in which Direct Billing is accepted:- https://www.william-russell.com/our-medical-network/. Purchase process was fine but William Russell didn’t appear to count a previous claim toward the excess on my latest claim application and haven’t responded to my follow-up email to check this.
