Great place for getting out to do some UTV riding. Our cabin was nice but everything was quite dated. Overall, I would say that things need to be updated. Also, the food at the restaurant was not goo

We're very glad that you were able to enjoy UTV riding in our area, but it is unfortunate that it appears we fell short in other areas during your stay. Matt B crushed it as our guide. The rapids were great. Staff got great photos of all the rafts at multiple points along the river. Lunch was well done.

Chose the Class V rapids on the Penobscot River. Matt - our guide - was knowledgeable and fun. It rained most of the day but that didn't matter, the river was high and we had a blast.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Despite the rain, we're glad you had a fun time whitewater rafting the Penobscot River with Matt. He's a terrific guide! We do apologize for the mix-up at the Big Moose Inn. We will be in contact with them to see what happened, but are glad that everything worked out just fine in the end.

Timberdoodle does not have A/C. If it is hot, the two bedrooms with the skylights do not have any airflow. Those rooms were hot, even at night. The whitewater rafting was great.
