I felt hassled. We were put under great pressure to pay the deposit and frankly if I 'd had an alternative Venue I would have gone else where. The pressure appears to have come from the property owner

I'm so sorry you feel this way and I have spoken to Flora who was the concierge team member who you dealt with and who had contact with the owner. She explained to me that the owner operates strictly on a first come first served basis which would have meant potentially losing the property for your dates if you did not secure it. She confirms that this is the reason she mentioned deposit payment would need to be made sooner rather than later so that you didn't miss out on your holiday. Notwithstanding, we never like to hear of a dissatisfied customer so we'd like to offer you a bottle of champagne on arrival to get your holiday off to a great start! Service was fine...just a shame that payments had to be in sterling when rental priced in Euros.
