Many thanks for your feedback, and delighted you found our telephone advice genuine and helpful. Pinworm is notoriously difficult to get rid of and can require repeated course of action. It also requires some cleaning and scrubbing ofthe horses’s scrubbing posts/areas and any rugs or they can just reinfect. I’m not sure if you’ve spoken to Cheryl, our ESQ-P specifically about this, but the advice from holistic vet Nick Thompson MRCVS is: 5 days of double dose every two weeks for 2 months. Gently squirt double dose Verm-X liquid up the bottom at the same time as dosing the front end. i.e. 5 days every two weeks for 2 months. Wipe clean under the tail, do not use sponge as that tends to spread. Use soft cloth and dispose of once used. Disinfect areas horse has rubbed up against. Verm-X has a gentle effect, so no adverse reaction should be seen. I do hope this helps. Very best wishes, Verm-X Customer Care.
