Our Kids designer name labels, the same as all other vinyl labels, are printed with a thick laminate cover. This is designed to protect the design of the label, making it scratch resistant. Thank you for your review. I am terribly sorry to hear you are not satisfied with your most recent purchase of Classic Small Name Labels. We do pride ourselves on the outstanding lifespan of our labels, and find it unusual you are having them come off after the first wash. We do recommend leaving your labels to adhere to any surface for 48 hours before washing. The surface must also be smooth, flat and dry for the label to stay attached when washed. Thank you so much for your feedback, I am sorry to hear that you are having difficulties with our Labels on baby bottles. We have tested our Name Labels and find that even in high temperature sterilisers they may blister but will stay stuck.
