We appreciate your feedback regarding the accommodation although we are concerned by your low rating and we have carried out our own internal investigations. Firstly, we are sorry that you seem to have experienced a few issues during your stay. We appreciate you may not have wanted to make a fuss at the time but if you had made contact with us we feel most of what you have reported could have been easily rectified by our housekeeping and maintenance team. Saying that, it is still disappointing that you have felt it necessary to report these issues and please be assured we are now following up on this with our local team.
With regards to the toilet, our plumber is attempting to source parts for this, although it is not a quick or easy fix. We are sorry you were inconvenienced by this. Likewise, we are sorry to hear that you did not have enough glasses, teaspoons or scissors. Our site team have now replaced these. That being said, however, should you have reported the missing items to us, our housekeeping team would have happily sourced any replacements for you. Our site manager has checked the bathroom door lock, and informs us it was not broken, it was simply the cover ring on the handle that has come loose. This has now been fixed.
We thank you for acknowledging the updates to the apartment, which is individually styled as they are privately owned. The style and replacement of furnishings are very much down to the owner's personal taste, though we do know it has had several upgrades such as new rugs and throws, new TVs and has been redecorated throughout.
Despite the above, we hope you managed to enjoy your time in Cornwall, and hope we can welcome you back another time.
