Hi Tom, I am sorry to read that you're unhappy with your purchase, although I am unsure what you mean by it being from a man in a shed? Our collection of decorations are produced by hand in factories, often using traditional methods dating back many years. The 'Tree in Dome' decoration you have purchased features a glass dome (not made from plastic as you have stated) which sits atop a Gesso base (again, not made from cardboard ). Furthermore I have personally inspected this batch of baubles and cannot find one on which a border which does not fit entirely around the base as you have described. I am also sorry to hear that this product has resulted in anger. We offer a returns policy in case our customers are unhappy with their purchases and the instructions on how to do so were included in your order. Kind regards, James

I have bought India Jane items previously from John Lewis and been perfectly happy with the quality. What was delivered was amateurish in construction and felt very cheap; I was shocked by the quality frankly. If the items I've purchased were of greater value, I'd have returned them but time is not a friend and the costs outweight the returns, so I'll bin them.

Not great but with some merit in its construction. Perhaps a little dull in colour.

The colours on the product looked washed out and had a 'left out in the strong sun' about it. I'm simply disappointed.

Same 'arts and crafts' quality from our man in the shed. I don't want home made goods thanks and this had a lid with a huge dip in the lid and could have been made for 15p in China for all I know. It

Hi Tom,Once again, I do not understand your reference to 'man in a shed' but again this bauble was produced in a a factory using Austrian crystals applied by hand. I have never seen examples of this box with any form of dip in the lid so this may have been damaged in transit. If you feel this is the case please contact us using the info on your returns form with photos of the damage and we will happily send you a replacement.Kind regards, James

'Man in a shed' i.e. looks like a retired amateur put the item together in his spare time. The lid has a distinct 'dip' in the middle of the lid s though it had sunk in as would a souffle taken out of the oven too early. Really shoddy delivery. I'm amazed this passed your product QA process and should never have made it out of your stock for delivery.
