This branch of Le Boat (Jarnac) really took good care of the boats. We were very pleased. The staff was very helpful.

Didn't buy anything but fuel.
Problems with boat: had to do a complete "electrical reset" several times while underway....one resulted in damage to boat. This is the same problem we had with a Vision 3 several years ago on Canal

This vessel has a nice floor plan and was very comfortable for our party of four. Again, the fleet is tired and needs a thorough going over or replacement soon.

Very friendly and helpfull staff both in Port Cassafiers as in Castellnaudry.
The boat was great, easy to use, cabins were large with lots of storage space.

I thought it was good but I would suggest having more people at check in as we were the first ones and the other people had to wait 2 hours

It was very serene and quiet, im glad we picked late in the season because i can't imagine going through all the locks waiting in line. I also liked this route because of only have 32 locks.
We had a pretty big boat 58 feet and the bow thruster stopped working. Fortunately my husband handles and drives big boats but I think the maintenance needs to be more elevated. we did love the lay

Lower Rideau is perfect. Much more open water than Europe.
My only concern is the lack of places to more up to for the night.
