The Magnifique was a great boat, roomy and well equipped. Despite being quite a large boat, it handled better than some of the smaller ones we have rented.

1) Reviewing the boat at Benson was done by an incompetent, junior member of the dock staff.
2) The office staff was extremely helpful in resolving the shower sump-pump problem.

All was ready when we went to pick up the boat, They did forget to put sheets on two beds and life jackets.

Calypso is a good, reliable boat. It could use some updating, but I'd rent it again.

We love the Rideau Canal system, Smiths Falls, Westport, and all the lovely Canadian towns along the way. Parks Canada does such an awesome job with the locks, and the people here are so friendly.
