As my colleague explained over the phone, the shipping cost you paid is the cost our courier (APC) charges us to deliver an order of that size and weight to Scotland on a next day delivery service.
We do not add on any additional charges for shipping, and therefore we are unable to reduce these costs.
We sincerely apologise that you had been waiting us to get in touch again following the phone call last week. This was a misunderstanding on our part.
We’re normally known for our exceptional customer service, and we regret that we missed the mark.
