Hi Bridget, we tend to recycle as much packaging from our suppliers as we possibly can (sometimes this is non-recyclable itself but, re-use is the way to minimise the impact of this). We also use as much recyclable and biodegradable packaging as we can but also have to strike a balance between protecting the items we send (replacements for damaged items will have more of an impact in terms of Co2 emissions).
We've been at the forefront of green packaging since the early nineties and try to keep our footprint as low as possible. If you do have any specific suggestions as to what you'd like to see us do to go further than this, please do email us at sales@baldwins.co.uk - many thanks for your order.

In the last 170 years, Baldwins has passed from the loving care of George Baldwin whose family helped to establish 12 shops (before downsizing) to the Dagnell’s, who have helped Baldwins to flourish into the store you see today: London’s oldest and most established Herbalist.
