I can't see that you have contacted us to query this - could you perhaps e-mail to sales@rugglesequestrian.co.uk so that we can try and sort for you. It doesn't happen often but I am wondering if it has been mislabelled at the factory and is a 'horse' 7'0 rather than HH. Look forward to hearing from you.

Beautiful rug and usually the 7ft is perfect for my HH but this comes up so short and doesn’t give enough room around the shoulder. Also front clip snapped on first night. Disappointing as it’s a love

I am really sorry that this rug wasn't suitable. I can't see that you have contacted us to query the fit - perhaps you could e-mail us on sales@rugglesequestrian we can try and sort for you. It doesn't happen often but I am wondering if it has been mislabelled at the factory and that you actually received a 'horse' 7'0 rather than a HH 7'0 as that would make sense based on what you have said about the fit at the shoulder. If tight that might also be why the clip broke. If you contact us and let us have some photos we will try and sort for you.

Thank you for e-mailing and it does seem that this rug was unfortunately mislabelled at the factory - hence the different fit! Thank you for stating though that you have always been happy with the fit for your heavy horse and that you will be back again in the future. Unfortunately in any mass production situation there will always be the occasional issue and mislabelling, though it doesn't happen often, is one of them.

This section is usually about the service (not about the product) and I have checked and your order was received on 7/11 evening and delivered on 9/11 on our standard free delivery service. I have responded on the product review but again I am sorry that one of the chest clips failed - I wish you had contacted us and we could have resolved for you as we do pride ourselves on our customer service. As mentioned there are two chest straps/clips so the chances of both failing would have been extremely unlikely. With regard to the 'returns policy' this is not the case where there is a problem with an item - we just ask that customers contact us. Regarding the stiffness of the fabric and fit, the fabric quality is not something we have ever had such feedback on before and this is one of the most popular stable rugs in the range. Obviously if you were not happy with the fit when you tried on then of course we could have taken back for a full refund. As mentioned on the product review you left, if you would like us to send replacement clips, or the more robust turnout trigger clips, then please let us know and we can sort this for you. Please advise if there was an issue with any of the other fittings.

I am extremely sorry to hear that the clip failed. This happens very rarely but is usually caused in the moulding process - unfortunately looking at them doesn't detect the fault hence the reason not detected at QC. There are two chest straps and clips on our rugs and statistically it would be very unusual for both to fail (unless under huge stress which is unlikely in the stable environment as horses don't tend to get caught on anything for this to happen) so the other strap/clip would have kept the rug secure. When this occasionally happens customers usually contact us and we send out replacement clips and as our design are not sewn in they are easy to replace. If you would like us to send you another pair, or if you prefer a pair of the more robust turnout trigger clips, then we are happy to do so if you just let us know. Apologies again that one of the clips failed but trust that it was just this one clip and that the other hardware/fittings were ok. If this is not the case then we would be grateful to hear.
