Thank you for your feedback. I will say that I am very surprised by your comments - if you look through the feedback on this particular course, it has never been bad - including the feedback below yours which was written by someone on the exact same course on the exact same week as you. Clearly this course wasn't for you however, I do wish that you had come to speak to someone in the office to see what could have been sorted out for you. If you would like to contact me on info@ableskills.co.uk I am happy to discuss a refund of some description. I appreciate that not all courses suit all people but Del the instructor is a time served plumber and has been teaching for a very long time and has never received negative feedback. Clearly you feel that the two of you didn't click and for that I am sorry however, I have to dispute your comments regarding his ability as a teacher. Feefo is for good and bad comments however, as a business we have a very approachable set of office staff who are keen to ensure that everyone gets value for money and changes can always be made to accommodate individuals.

Thank you so much for your feedback - your experience on this course was clearly very different to the guy who posted above you! Del is a great instructor, passionate and full of life experience. The short course is packed full of tips and skills and clearly did the job as you have the confidence now to undertake plumbing tasks. Thank you again; Del gets regular fantastic feedback and gets a bit down when someone posts bad feedback because he does work hard to cater for all abilities.

I have looked at the email trail between yourself and John Measures. You didn't give any notification that you wouldn't be attending, you just didn't show up on the day. John contacted you to offer you a start the next day and you declined. I don't really know what more you expected us to do. It was impossible for us to fill your space with zero notice and therefore, the cost of £790 needs to be covered and in your case it was, as we invoiced the company who were covering the fees for you. I feel that John offered you every opportunity to complete this course and dealt with your booking/non-attendance in an appropriate manner.

I was well and it was the first day after the Christmas break this why I could not attend and forgot to inform you. Maybe you should refund at least 50% of the cost back to me or offer me another date in the future

The 2394/2395 Inspection and Testing is controlled by City & Guilds and is externally marked which is why it takes so long to finalise. City and Guilds have just recently offered the opportunity for individuals to do the current written exams on-line however, the marking time will still be lengthy so its better but still not as quick as candidates would like it to be. Steve Briggs is a great instructor - really knows his stuff when it comes to Inspection and Testing. Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback.
