Hi There. I did actually advise that the washing instructions are on the outer packaging. I also said I would find out and come back to you, so apologies for that part,The fabric inserts are not filters they are to keep the inside of the mask make up free. Full washing instructions are on our website:How to Wash:The Virus Buster masks are reusable not only because the filter efficiency remains the same for weeks, but above all, copper is known to have self-sanitizing properties which will keep your mask smelling fresher for longer.Step 1: Add distilled water or boiled water which has been left to rest for 15 minutes to the bowl. Step 2: Add a drop of neutral non-bleach detergent. Do not use soap or alkaline detergent.Step 3: Remove the cotton hygiene filter from the mask and submerge the face mask fully into the bowl for at least 10 minutes whilst gently massaging, NOT hard rubbing.Step 4: Squeeze out excess water and lay the face mask flat to dry naturallyWe suggest washing the mask once a week or after 40 hours of wear. There is a recommended maximum number of 5 washes for this product.Happy New Year to youPaula
