Still no reply yet I have received another invoice today, how can that be right when WorldPay had notice to close the account back in July & took a payment in August. I called weekly to resolve this almost 2 months ago & it needs resolving. Could you ask again please, I tried phoning but the queues are ridiculous & I cant keep paying for a call to just hang on & hang on. I can be contacted on 07956 824471. Out of all the companies I have worked with BT & WorldPay have the worst, customer unfriendly business processes when it comes to closing an account, we didn’t even choose WorldPay - we had the account iniated to us by 123Send, the terminal supplier. As we had no choice then 123Send really should have cut the account off when we ended our contract with them but of course they leave it to us to sort. We are well beyond the 30 day notice period now, please could you send this to a senior manager, someone who has the authority to sort it out. Thank you, Geri Down

We moved our fruit and veg business from bricks and mortar (our shop is for sale) to online home deliveries of fruit and veg. Worldpay, who we have been with for 11 years, were keen to retain business from us by switching us to a Virtual Terminal. A white plastic bag came to return the physical terminal and stand etc. I did not return it immediately but a chase up letter prompted me to package everything in the barcoded bag and off I went to the Post Office. Got and retained my proof of posting. I received no further correspondence until an “unknown” direct debit hit my account on 30th July. Payment returned and DD cancelled as no idea who it was from. Letter from Worldpay thereafter saying I hadn’t returned terminal and £440.40 charge. Raised a complaint with Worldpay. Reply by email was inflexible. We don’t have terminal / you did not return the terminal full stop. Black and White. Proof of posting: after 7 weeks I did not know where it was. Now dealing with Collections Dept for arrears. Total embarrassment to me. Anyway BIG COMPANIES V small traders: no chance. Disgusted.
