Good morning, thanks for taking the time to write this review, which of course is not great to read. As you are aware, the agent in question no longer works at affinity, and we were initially in contact with you after you collected the keys from us regarding the internal issues you raised at the property. Please understand that there is only so much we can do regarding issues raised after a completion, at which point it is down to your legal representative (Lawyer) to take over, which is what I believe happened here. The property was checked prior to completion and there were none of the issues you have raised - you completed roughly 2 months after the final viewing and then collected keys from us 3 months later.
The condition of the property and smell is normal with any property left unattended for this amount of time.
Regarding the initial negotiations, it is common for a vendor to create some kind of urgency when negotiations are taking place, which I know was the case here as there were other clients viewing the property, and this is certainly not a case us us misleading or being unprofessional in any way. The vendor did take time in returning the signed contract as they were considering other offers on the property, which we found out after we received the contract.
If there is anything further we can do to help we are available whenever you would like to speak, and I will follow this up with a call to you on Monday.
Regards,
James.
