We appreciate your positive comments about the apartments and our location. We are however surprised by your reference to the "downsides". Even though you were in contact with us during your stay, you did not mention to us at the time that there were any issues with the cleanliness. You have not stated any specifics so it is diffuclt for us to comment further, however we did have two housekeepers cleaning the apartment prior to your arrival. If there were any elements of the cleaning which were not up to our usual high standards we can only apologise. We would have been happy to attend had you made us aware. With regard to your reference to broken appliances, we believe this follows your discussion with one of our housekeepers to say that the dishwasher did not work. We attended and found that the timer had been set for a delayed start. As soon as we removed this setting, the dishwasher worked. When you left and we attended to clean, we found the dishwasher had again be set for a delayed start. We can only conclude that you accidentally put the timer on and for this reason you thought it was broken. It is rare for guests to have timer issues with the dishwasher but had you let us know we would have attended to assist. You mention "broken appiances" in the plural. We are not aware of any appliances not working in the apartment. You may have been referencing a missing milk tray in the fridge which is on order but not yet arrived. Lastly you reference "temperature" which we assume refers to the apartment temperature. We do not understand what the issue is as each apartment has its own heating controls and they are turned right down in summer so that guests can adjust them as needed. We have checked out the heating and thermostat in that aparatment and it is working as it should. We hope that despite these issues you enjoyed your time in Cornwall.
