Given what we do, which contains extraordinary adventures and risks in remote places, the information we ask for is essential, generally speaking.  For example, if our doctor sees something , such as long-term medication for an otherwise minor condition, it is important that he considers how current drugs would sit aside the drugs we might need to give to you in remote location on a mountain side.  But in the context of what you were planning on doing  - a week in the alps - I can see why you would think it was too much to fill-in before hand.  I will look to see if we cant make it more streamlined for alp trips in the future.
