Hello, We are sorry you feel this was but unfortunately the vehicle had been returned to us with a lot of damage on and whilst you say this was 'surface scratches' the scuffs are so deep in part that there is no paint left and you are able to see the plastic moulding of the bumper. Due to this, as i am sure you understand we need to repair the damage that has been caused by you during the hire. We are sorry you feel its not fair to charge you the amount of money that we have however, we also don't feel its right to deliver vehicles to customers in the condition that this has been returned to us in. We hope you can see where we are coming from however if you remain unhappy and wish to discuss this further, please feel free to call us. Kind Regards
